18th November 2004 - Breakfast in Bethlehem On Saturday 4th December between 9.30am and 12.30pm, Lymm Baptist Church is open to all for our annual Breakfast in Bethlehem (Christmas Fun for all the Family) celebration. Breakfast in Bethlehem is open to all. There will be crafts, Baking, nativity Photographs, Karaoke Carols, Refreshments and much more. Come and join us for a fun morning out for all the family. Entry is free! Drop in anytime between 9.30am and 12.30pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and all adults must be accompanied by at least one child! Click here for more details. 9th November 2004 - John de Jong in Concert Lymm Coffee Pot presents John de Jong in concert Thursday 2nd December at Statham Lodge Hotel. Tickets are £6 (including Tea/Coffee and Gateaux). In addition, Paul will be taking part in a multi-media event to commemorate Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 14th November 11th October 2004 - Alternative Halloween - Kids Light Party Lymm Baptist Church is holding its annual alternative Halloween event - the Kids Light Party - on Sunday 31st October from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. The events on the 1st and 2nd October will be based on the theme "Living & Working successfully with Pressure, Change and Stress" and will be led by Frances Munro of SALT - Stress and Life Trust. 14th September 2004 - Book Reviews New book reviews page added. 14th September 2004 - Alpha Course Alpha course begins next Sunday, 18th September. Click here for more details. 13th September 2004 - Autumn Housegroups The details of the housegroup studies for the remainder of 2004 is now available on the Housegroups page. 31st August 2004 - Updates to Sunday Services The preaching plan for the remainder of 2004 is now available on the Sunday Services page. 17th June 2004 - Lymm OLymmpics On Saturday 10th July, Lymm Baptist church is hosting Lymm OLymmpics from 10am until noon on the Lymm May Queen Field. There will be 5 events for all primary age school children (from reception up to year 6 inclusive) with all proceeds going to Sport Relief. The events are,
Children will be competing with similarly aged children. There will be a BBQ from 11.30am where you can purchase food and light refreshments. In order to help us make the day a great success we need everyone who would like to take part to register by 3rd July at the very latest. This is essential so that we can ensure we have enough rewards for everyone taking part. Please return your completed registration form along with £2 (all cheques payable to Lymm Baptist Church) to Lymm Baptist Church (click here for directions). There is a post box next to the front doors of the church. Please don’t return registrations to your school and remember all proceeds will go to sport relief All registration forms will be entered into a draw to win 2 tickets to Warrington Wolves against Salford Reds on Sunday 1st August at the Halliwell Jones stadium, Warrington.

Click here for details. 20th April 2004 - Golf Day On Wednesday 30th June, we will be hosting our first golf day at Walton Hall Golf Course in Warrington. The format for the day is as follows; 7.30am First tee-off time 12.30pm Lunch and prize giving at "The Stag Inn" The day is open to anyone who has the desire to be there ... we can even get hold of some clubs if you don't have any!! Simply contact Daniel Newton or Mark Instone asap with the number of players and their handicaps. Places are on a strictly first come, first served basis. The total cost for the golf, meal and prizes will be £20 per person. A £5 cheque/cash deposit is required for each player by 2nd May. 13th April 2004 - New Resources Page I have added a new Resources page to the website as an area for publishing items of interest, helpfulness, blessing or just fun. The first item (from Mark Hamill) describes a Jewish custom of counting (literally) your blessings. So rather than complaining about all the bad things lets praise God for all the good things he has given us.

25th March 2004 - Annual General Meeting (AGM) At the Lymm Baptist Church Annual General Meeting (AGM) tonight, Paul Gellert retired from the diaconate after 2 terms, Bryan Mortishire was re-elected to the diaconate and Dorothy Evans was elected to the diaconate. 12th January 2004 - Alpha Courses The next 2 Alpha courses begin on Tuesday 20th January at 7.30pm and Friday 23rd January at 10.00am.
