10th December 2003 - Breakfast in Bethlehem A very big thank you to all 270 people who came to Breakfast in Bethlehem this year, roll on 2004! Pictures to follow soon! 14th November 2003 - Breakfast in Bethlehem on Saturday 29th November Come along and join the Inn crowd. Breakfast in Bethlehem is a free family event focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. Come along and make some Christmas crafts, sing and record some karaoke carols, watch the Christmas puppet show, join in the community carol singing, have your photograph taken in the nativity scene, do some baking, and have something to eat. Doors open from 9.00am to 1.00pm - come along when you can, leave when you must. An opportunity to come and experience something of the real Christmas story. For more details contact Ralph and the team via the church office. 21st October 2003 - Church Weekend Away Our biannual church weekend away was held this year at Tillington Hall Hotel in Stafford from 3rd-5th October. This year's theme was "Making the Connection" with our guest speaker Revd. Phil Jump (regional minister for the North Western Baptist Association). More details (including pictures) coming soon!. 24th September 2003 - Alpha Course The next Alpha course begins with an Alpha Supper (7 for 7.30pm) on Thursday 8th October. The course itself starts on Tuesday 14th October at 8.00pm. All welcome. The Alpha supper and course are open to all. For more details (including a menu!) click here. 18th September 2003 - Harvest Service Our Harvest Service, which this year takes place on the 12th October, is entitled "More Than Survivors" and will focus on the work of the Baptist Missionary Society in Brazil. 18th September 2003 - Church Weekend Away Our biannual church weekend away is being held this year at Tillington Hall Hotel in Stafford from 3rd-5th October. This year's theme is "Making the Connection", and our guest speaker is Revd. Phil Jump who is the regional minister for the North Western Baptist Association. Over 100 people are booked to go on what promises to be an enjoyable mix of teaching, fellowship and recreation. Please join us if you can. If not, check back later for pictures from the weekend (including the Saturday night entertainment!). 17th September 2003 - Special Service of Ordination and Induction The ordination and Induction of Rob Beamish, our new Assistant Pastor, took place on Saturday 13th September. We welcomed friends and relatives from around the country to Lymm for what proved to be a tremendous occasion. Rob begins his ministry here with a special focus on youth and community outreach. For pictures and more details of the service, click here. 4th August 2003 - Special Service of Ordinatation and Induction On Saturday 13 September at 2pm, our new Assistant Pastor Rob Beamish will be ordained and inducted into the church. The preacher will be Revd Tim Bradshaw, M.A., PhD, Senior Tutor and Tutor in Christian Doctrine at Regent's Park Baptist College, Oxford. |
