Art Installation

In 2004, Lymm Baptist Church held its first art installation.

Lymm Baptist Church is committed to trying out new forms of worship and pushing the boundaries in art, music and liturgy. This is a relative new direction for us, but is allowing space for all kinds of people to worship the Lord in many different ways. At the moment our installations and alternative services are sporadic but there is space for growth in the future.

There is much to be gained form engaging with worship in this way, most of all a sense of independent worship in a corporate setting which allows a real intimacy with God to develop. At no point do we want to limit God to our shallow ways of doing things.

These installations are not gimmicks or just for the young but they are valid attempts to allow each other to engage with God in different ways and in ways that are just not possible in a larger corporate setting.
